Delete your BrainBrew account and data
This page lets you request deletion of your BrainBrew account and data without needing the app. You can also delete your account directly in the app (Profile → “Delete account and data”).
BrainBrew is provided by Mehyar Al Suwaidi. You can delete your account and personal data at any time.
How to request deletion
Email brainbrew.app@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account (or include your username), with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify the request and process it. You do not need the app to request deletion — an email request from this page is all that’s needed.
What is deleted
- Your profile (username, country, settings)
- Your practice history and milestones
- Your email, Google, or Apple sign-in connection and authentication account
- The local record of any subscription
What is kept (without your identity)
Your past Ranked scores and timing are kept in anonymized form for fairness and the integrity of competition — they are no longer linked to your name, account, or country, and appear on Leaderboards without identifying information. Any usage/analytics events we still hold are likewise stripped of your identity — your account id, country, and session are removed. (Raw usage events are also deleted on the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy.)
Timing
Deletion is normally completed within 30 days of a confirmed request, except where we must keep certain records for security, fraud, billing, legal, or backup reasons.
Provider note
Some records are held by our providers under their own policies. Deleting your BrainBrew account does not cancel an active subscription, and does not by itself create a refund. Any subscription is billed and managed by the store where you subscribed: cancel an Apple App Store subscription in your Apple account settings, and a Google Play subscription in Google Play; refunds are handled by that store under its own policies. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account — delete it in the app or request deletion by email as described above.
